The Boston Celtics won their sixth NBA championship in team history with a 106-88 victory over the Dallas Mavericks in Game 4 of the Finals on Sunday night.

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics with 28 points, 10 rebounds, and six assists, while Jaylen Brown added 24 points and Robert Williams III contributed 15 points and 12 boards. Luka Dončić paced the Mavericks with 28 points and девять подборов, but it wasn't enough to prevent Dallas from falling short of their first NBA title since 2011.

The Celtics took control of the game in the second quarter, outscoring the Mavericks 32-18 to take a 54-40 lead into halftime. Boston extended their lead to 20 points in the third quarter and never looked back.

Tatum was named the NBA Finals MVP after averaging 27.0 points, 8.5 rebounds, and 4.7 assists in the four games. He is the youngest player to win the Finals MVP award since Kawhi Leonard in 2014.

The Celtics' victory is their first NBA championship since 2008. They are now tied with the Chicago Bulls for the third-most NBA titles in history, behind only the Los Angeles Lakers (17) and the Golden State Warriors (7).
