Early Beginnings

Corey Perry was born on May 16, 1985, in Peterborough, Ontario. He began playing hockey at a young age and quickly developed into a promising prospect.

NHL Career

Anaheim Ducks

Perry was drafted by the Anaheim Ducks in the first round (28th overall) of the 2003 NHL Entry Draft. He made his NHL debut in the 2005-06 season and quickly became a key player for the Ducks. He won the Stanley Cup with the Ducks in 2007 and was awarded the Rocket Richard Trophy for leading the NHL in goals during the 2010-11 season.

Other Teams

After spending 14 seasons with the Ducks, Perry joined the Montreal Canadiens in 2019. He then signed with the Dallas Stars in 2020 and later with the Tampa Bay Lightning in 2021. Perry won his second Stanley Cup with the Lightning in 2021.

International Hockey

Perry has also represented Canada on the international stage. He has competed in the World Championships, World Cup of Hockey, and Olympic Games, winning gold at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.

Legacy

Corey Perry is one of the most decorated hockey players of his generation. With 429 goals and 476 assists in the NHL, he is considered one of the game's most dangerous offensive players. He has left an enduring mark on the sport and will undoubtedly be inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame.
